Project Description

This course focuses on developing a rudimentary understanding of the financial services industry as it specifically relates to the role of investment banking. The primary objective is for the student to learn how small and large investment banking firms develop and market tools to manage risk, pursue financial opportunities and supply information to investors, including corporations and governments and consumers to make informed financial decisions. Investment Banking will include such topics as raising capital and security underwriting, mergers and acquisitions, primary and secondary market making, asset management, initial public offerings, leveraged buyouts and venture capital. #TeachAcademicsInAsia
