Every year Sias celebrates a week of cultures from all over the world. As Foreign Faculty we have the privilege to be a part of the planning and executing of this week. Each day of the week is given to a different part of the world, for example- Tuesday celebrates Asia, Wednesday celebrates Europe, and so forth. From Monday – Saturday different cultures come together to collaborate on this amazing project! When you come to Sias you will choose a region of the world to help celebrate and will work with fellow teachers to prepare for its designated day. There is everything from games and informational boards during the day to musical and theatrical performances during the night! This is an annual event that brings together the teaching staff and creates fond memories with the students.

#tbt to #CultureWeek2019 last month. Many teachers dressed in costume or performed for the evening performances. It’s a great time to bond with other teachers or have some time in the spotlight. Culture Week is a 5-day festival celebrating cultures around the world. China Day opens the festivities on Monday, featuring vendors, traditional craftsmen, and cultural demonstrations. During Asia Day, our many international students showcase the cultures of their homelands. The other three days are organized by the foreign teachers. Culture week is a whirlwind of activity, but perhaps one of the most memorable weeks of the school year at #SiasUniversity. ~Featured photos~ 👸 Europe Day ⛩️ China Day 🦁 South America/Africa Day #cultureweek #sias #academicsinasia #teachoverseas #costumeparty #dressup #culturalunderstanding #culturalexperience #culture #festival #inthespotlight #throwbackthursday #tbthursday #whynotchina
